Individuals and legal entities are required by law to notify the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and the listed company itself of the amount of their voting rights as soon as they attain or exceed certain thresholds through the acquisition or disposal of voting shares or financial instruments or for any other reason below.

These thresholds are 3%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 50% or 75%. In addition to the voting rights, since 20 January 2007 capital market participants must also report if they hold certain financial instruments with which shares can be acquired.

Notifications about the achievement or exceeding or falling below thresholds should be sent by fax to Ringmetall SE (+49 89 45 220 98 22) as well as by email to Info@ringmetall.de and IR@ringmetall.de.
