Candor and transparency determine our communication with our investors and interested capital market participants. The principles of good corporate governance are therefore of particular importance to us and guide us in our interaction and our dealings with our employees, our business partners and our investors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Corporate governance is an essential foundation of our corporate strategy.<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Management Board and the Supervisory Board want to secure the success of our company through responsible and long-term corporate governance. They work closely together in the interest of the company. An intensive, continuous dialogue between the two committees is the foundation on which this success builds.<\/p>\n<p>Our corporate governance is based on the recommendations of the Government Commission on the German Corporate Governance Code as amended on\u00a0December 16, 2019, published by the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection in the official section of the Federal Gazette. Our guidelines\u00a0essentially comply with the recommendations of the Code in its current version. The Management Board and Supervisory Board of the Company have\u00a0published any deviations from the requirements of the Code in the following Declaration of Conformity pursuant to Section 161 of the
