Holding AG. The company, which operated as an investment company, acquired, founded and sold numerous companies from 1998 onwards. In <strong>2007<\/strong>, the company went public on the <strong>open market of the German Stock Exchange<\/strong>, followed by a switch to the <strong>Entry Standard<\/strong> of the<strong> Frankfurt Stock Exchange in 2012<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Following changes to the company&#8217;s Management Board in 2011 and 2014, the company increasingly focused on <strong>expanding its business with industrial packaging<\/strong> and the handling of industrial goods.<strong> In 2015,<\/strong> the company <strong>repositioned<\/strong> itself as a <strong>specialist provider in the packaging industry<\/strong> and <strong>changed<\/strong> its name<strong> to Ringmetall AG<\/strong>. Ringmetall underpinned this approach with the acquisition of <strong>Berger US<\/strong>, formerly Self Industries (2015), <strong>Nittel<\/strong> (2018), <strong>Tesseraux<\/strong> (2019), <strong>Rhein-Plast<\/strong> (2022), <strong>Protective Lining<\/strong> (2023) and <strong>Liner Factory<\/strong> (2023).<\/p>\n<p>Due to the dynamic international growth strategy, the holding company was <strong>transformed from a German stock corporation into a European company (SE) in 2021.<\/strong> In view of the subsequent company integrations and further planned acquisitions, this was one of the cornerstones on the path to becoming a serial acquirer and global player.<\/p>\n<p>The sale of HSM GmbH &amp; Co. KG in <strong>2023<\/strong> marked the <strong>separation of the Industrial Handling division<\/strong>. Since then, the Ringmetall Group has focused on its core business as a pure specialist for industrial packaging in the two divisions Industrial Packaging Rings and Industrial Packaging Liner.
